I was inspired to start Canine Stroll Patrol after adopting my gorgeous rescue pup, Gus, who is reactive and taught me so much about patience, understanding, and building trust with dogs who need that little extra support.

I’m passionate about making every walk more than just exercise - it’s about enrichment, confidence, and fun. Whether your dog is bouncy, shy, or reactive, we are here to give them a walk that suits their needs and brings a wag to their tail.

My love for working with dogs grew when I saw the positive impact regular walks had on my own nervous Cockapoo. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your dog, especially if they’re anxious or reactive!

We are here to make every walk a safe and joyful experience. Our walks are all about giving your dog a fun-filled adventure, while gently helping them grow in confidence along the way.

Creating Tail-Wagging Adventures

Why Canine Stroll Patrol?

We’re a caring dog walking team of two, serving Newton Abbot and surrounding areas, with a passion for helping all dogs, even those that are nervous or reactive flourish - because all dogs deserve fun-filled adventures. With training in canine behaviour, first aid, and a gentle, patient and positive approach, we tailor every walk to your dog’s needs.

We only take small groups out in public to ensure every dog gets our full attention, as your dog is our priority. For larger groups, we use a secure field with ample of space for playing and sniffing. All dogs are carefully assessed and introduced gradually, so they’re matched with companions they’ll love.
